![]() My main course was the barbecue pulled pork sandwich. My only comment was that I would have liked it to have been served hotter. It was had a flavorful broth and nice chunks of chicken. I started with a bowl of the chicken and dumpling soup. Lunch and dinner seem to carry many of the same items. It wasn't busy, and things moved at a relaxed pace (though. Low-key lighting, a spacious dining area, open kitchen, and plenty of seating describe where we ate. I cannot day enough great things about this company. And the coffee station was a huge hit with high quality coffee. They also provided an infused water station at the ceremony site. The dessert station was absolutely spectacular and set up so beautifully. He helped the coordinator and the DJ with our grand entrance. The owner David, was even on site the day of our wedding and went as far as to help out with anything that was needed of him, whether it related to the catering or not. Food was delivered hot and to all guest at the table at the same time. The staff was friendly, professional and efficient. A few even asked for a second helping as well as recipes and cards for the company. When it came to the day of our wedding, they exceeded all expectations so much so, our guests could not stop talking about how delicious the food was. We knew we were dealing with professionals when they told us they would need to rent a special oven just to prepare the chicken and a deep fryer just for the brussels sprouts. I would use this caterer for all events in the future!!! Excellent!!!! Now, preparing a good tasting and delivering the same high quality food to 150 guests the day of a wedding are two different things. This is not your run of the mill traditional wedding food by any means. Everything was always fresh, delicious, high quality well paired. I had a few experiences prior with this company and each time they excelled in consistency. To make for a menu because literally everything was AMAZING! We also didn’t bother trying out any other caterers because we knew the food was everything we wanted and more. Highly recommend if you want unforgettable food at your event. We did buffet style but they had servers refilling waters and clearing plates, they were all very professional and friendly. HK also nicely agreed to heat and handle some authentic pierogi we brought in from another vendor as our late night snack. We even had meat eaters go back for seconds to try the vegan fajita bowl because they loved their food so much. Then we had the Mexican kale caesar, slow-cooked chicken thighs with salsa verde, pomegranate-glazed shortribs, squash with mole (OMG the mole) and polenta cakes as a base. We did the cheese station (gorgeous), crispy chickpeas and seasonal bruschetta (amazing) as starters. They're not the cheapest, but people are still talking about the food from the wedding and that was our goal. We planned our wedding from another country so had to commit to the caterer and menu sight unseen, which was nervewracking, but when we were finally able to get to a tasting, it was PHENOMENAL.
